Yue Xiu wasn't being polite.
She had come to Han Lie with a request; surely, she wasn't there just to idly chat with her superficial friend, Lü Shuli.
"It's about the same thing."
She shyly clasped her fingers—her hands naturally falling before her, thumbs linked, the rest of her fingers intertwined.
She looked especially shy, nervous, and vulnerable.
"I have a little spare cash, and I want to learn about financial management, but the threshold is really too high... If, if you have the time... could you perhaps show me the ropes?"
Fearing that Han Lie and Lü Shuli might misunderstand, she quickly added an explanation.
"You don't need to manage it for me. Just teach me a bit, give me an overall concept, that's all!"
Lü Shuli's smile was a bit stiff as she nervously watched Han Lie.
Then Han Lie agreed without a second thought.
"Certainly! It's no big deal."
