Ouyang Yan was not the least bit scared; she did not believe that Xiao Yihe dared to fall out with her here, and sure enough, Xiao Yihe took a deep breath and replied dismissively, "Someone I knew before."
"You sure seem to know a lot of people." She said with a mocking smile, her words dripping with sarcasm.
Ouyang Yan thought she had the shield of the engagement party to protect her, leaving Xiao Yihe no way to react; thus, she kept treading on the tightrope in Xiao Yihe's heart, swaying back and forth.
Xiao Yihe's expression darkened, and his gaze toward Ouyang Yan was filled with ferocity. After scanning around to make sure no one else and no surveillance cameras were present, he threatened in a lowered voice, "Ouyang Yan, this engagement party will eventually come to an end. You had better weigh your options carefully; angering me won't do you any good."
Ouyang Yan's heart skipped a beat.
But she was always stubborn, not knowing the meaning of restraint.
