"I... pro-ise... Guh-!" The VPU tried saying something, most likely something snarky, but those thick thighs saved your eyes from seeing whatever was being cooked up in that demented mind of hers.
Irys Heart, ever the curious, lets up her legs' grip a little. Just enough for Vinaya to speak. Right before giving a little squeeze to assert her dominance over the taller of the two.
"What was that? You promise to surrender?" Sadie taunted with a menacing laugh.
The VPU's face was already contorted into discomfort due to her situation. But hearing those words and that tone made her features twist into a different emotion: Annoyance. And a lot of it.
Brow furrowed, stomach bleeding, teeth grit, and day ruined, Vinaya's right eye glowed an ominous red for just a second.
"I promised him I'd go easy this time. Guess promises are like rules, meant to be broken." The taller woman sighed, her voice so soft it was almost like she was talking to herself and not her current opposition. Unlike her coughs that came out every third syllable.
Like a cup of cold water to the face, the lioness's words smacked right into the CPU wrapping her legs around her. Stunned so much all Iris Heart could have verbalized as a response was a confuffled "What?" within a timely manner.
Not wanting to find out whatever the hell that little tirade was about, Iris Heart went right back to choking her victim into submission.
"I think that's enough teen angst for this chapter..." She chirped as her limbs clamped mercilessly around the Amazonian's neck.
"Mods, crush her skull." Purple Heart, who totally heard all of that, trust, added from her perch, raising her finger and spinning it around near her face before making a fist as she spoke.
As the two goddesses continued their dual taunts, Vinaya remained silent. With the area around her becoming deathly cold and deeply depressing. To the point where all color rapidly drained entirely within an 8 foot radius of her.
Even then, Iris Heart kept up her attack, her Share energy preventing her from being affected by either the cold or lack of color. While Purple Heart found herself gripping her long sword subtly, eyes narrowed in on the two below her.
"Polarize" The lioness muttered, shortly before the 8 foot radius instantly receded until it didn't exist at all.
Sadie, who'd been paying close attention to her enemy so far, braced herself for impact.
Impact of what? She didn't know, but what she did know was that an attack was incoming. Or at least she thought she did.
One second passes. Nothing. Two, nothing. Just Vinaya between Iris Heart's legs sounding like she was choking, because she still was. Even if it had been a full 2 minutes thus far of the sin's intimate moment with Ultra Dimension's favorite Planeptunian.
"Is that it?" Asked the goddess in question, raising an eyebrow in valid skepticism.
Vinaya didn't answer. In fact, she didn't speak at all. Instead choosing to close her eyes and concentrate, a trickle of blood leaking out of her mouth.
Subtly, a trace of red lightning began crackling from where the lioness's skull and Sadie's thighs made contact. That lightning would then creep up and all over the CPU's body, so fine and minute that the woman whose body was being covered didn't even notice. At least, not until it was already too late.
Begone..." Vinaya stated casually, the lightning picking up in intensity visually, crackling wildly and lashing out all over. But otherwise did nothing else.
That was until the sin spoke another word, shouting it so loud her voice echoed throughout all of Gamindustri. But somehow deafening none of who heard it. Which was everyone.
"THOT!" Was the second word, declared with raw vitriol and malice.
As suddenly as the word was said, a wave of black lightning pulsed out. With the VPU as the epicenter, it instantly covered a 100 meter sphere. Then it dissipated into thin air. 'Sadie!' Neptune screamed internally, but kept her face neutral. At least as neutral as she could muster.
For Iris Heart, that lightning didn't damage her. In lieu, it sent her flying.
Like a brick wall to the face, the attack slammed right into the shorter woman, rag dolling her several city blocks down the road. But not without harmlessly encasing her in that weird lightning on her way off screen. Shouting in a mix of surprise and shock as she flew.
Over with Purple Heart, she didn't get such a treatment. Instead, she just got covered in that black stuff, getting her entire body now peppered with thin gray lines. Usually when someone goes after her friends, revenge was sought swiftly. But this time, this time's a bit different. This woman was just pulling shit out her ass. 'And I'm not out here trying to rush headlong into the "Anti plot armor technique", that she didn't use since the Heian era, Narrator.' This dimension's deity added internally
"My SP skills..." The Planeptunian Patron muttered under her breath, verbalizing what that lightning did with annoyance leaking from her voice as she floated her way over to her opponent. "The heck was that?!"
It wasn't just her SP skills either, but all of her skills. EXE drives and even her processors included, forcing her to start walking to close the distance. Hell, she found it impossible to even open her inventory at that moment. Meaning she can't even call for help. Even though that would be quite a great idea right about now.
Apropos of Perfect Heart's concern for her friend who'd been flung, she tried hiding how much concern was washing over her. For some odd reason she felt like she needed to do that.
As for Vinaya, she was starting to stand up. Absently grasping at her neck, she rose to her feet. She was no longer scowling. In fact, she looked a bit better than when her interaction with the two planeptunians had just began.
This is when Purple Heart finally noticed the fact that Vinaya was bleeding. A lot. Eyes widening just a tad, Neptune couldn't stop herself from asking a question.
"What are you?" A mix of confusion and appall in her words, the grip on Purple Heart's sword doubled as she got into an offensive stance.
A blue bar appeared above the sin's head, a stark contrast to the red fluids currently leaking out of her middle abdomen.
Before giving an answer, Vinaya lets out a soft chuckle. Which was instantly interrupted by a fit of violent coughs.
"Me? I'm a VPU, dear main character. An endgame boss you just happened to run up on..." As if she wasn't just hacking up a lung- damn near literally too with how she coughed up a glob of blood that was filling her right lung just now.- the VPU dropped her hands to her sides with a grin that was slowly growing wider.
Purple Heart Watched closely as her adversary clenched her fists at her sides before opening them, revealing her limbs ending with sharp claws.
"Well that surely answers my nepping question." Hoping to get a free exposition dump, Perfect Heart's eyes narrowed with a pang of her own annoyance.
"Go see what the other lioness said if you want more. Whoops, you don't have a choice right now, do you?" Vinaya grinned, taking a cat-like stretch before assuming a fighting stance that looked closer to a certain spandex enjoying web head's.
With three out of her four appendages touching the floor, and the fourth high in the air. The lioness sin proved that moniker wasn't given by mistake as a pair of lion ears appeared on her head and a tail sprouted out the base of her spine.
"What I will give exposition on, though, is the fact that you have been banned from using your automatic skills-nya~. Meaning your only hope of winning is manual inputs. Tell me, CPU of Hyperdimension's Planeptune, do you remember your moveset-nya~?"
`Heaven or hell?
LET'S ROCK!`
