Someone... Locked... My memories?
His expression slowly stiffened.
Confusion, disbelief, and...
Unease!
None of it answered the only question that truly mattered.
Who?
He rubbed his forehead absentmindedly.
"...Hm?"
Something scratched against his fingers.
He lowered his hand.
Resting quietly in his palm... was the Hypercube Spatial Reactor.
The impossible four-dimensional object had somehow shrunk to the size of a small crystal, yet its interior still folded endlessly through impossible dimensions. Tiny streams of crimson light continued flowing inside it, as if an entire universe had been compressed into something small enough to fit within his hand.
Young Aether stared at it for several silent seconds.
"I officially don't understand anything anymore."
A weak smile escaped him.
He simply closed his fingers around the tiny cube.
There were too many questions.
Too few answers.
And somehow...
Everything had only become stranger.
Process it?
Find answers?
How?
