One should understand that it is not easy to be a good person, and remaining a good person among bad people is even harder.
It is not because good people are ignorant of evil.
In fact, they know exactly what "bad" means.
Hell, many of them have witnessed things far worse than what ordinary criminals or corrupt individuals would consider evil.
A good person is simply someone who understands those dark impulses, acknowledges them, and still chooses to push them aside. They choose to remain good despite knowing how easy it would be to become something else.
That is what truly makes them a good person.
And yet, even good people have limits.
Every person has a breaking point hidden somewhere deep inside their soul. Once that limit is reached, once they are pushed beyond the point of no return, something changes.
