Explosive rounds tore through charging monsters, ripping flesh apart and spraying blood into the air. Yet the beasts didn't stop. Even those missing limbs continued charging through pure rage and hunger.
One metallic figure swung an energy blade downward toward a giant horned creature.
But before the strike landed...

The monster bit directly through the machine's upper torso. Sparks exploded everywhere while metal screamed beneath crushing jaws.
Another machine fired point-blank into a scaled beast's face. The creature's skull exploded partially apart... yet it still lunged forward and tore the machine into pieces with its claws.
The battlefield became absolute carnage.
And right before the charging wave collided completely...
