Inside the Academy, Victor and Dora walked through the long marble corridor while soft echoes followed their steps.
Victor spoke calmly, explaining his findings about the card. Dora listened beside him, humming thoughtfully as she nodded along, her eyes glinting with quiet curiosity.
"So that Vesperine girl somehow figured out how to raise the values," Dora said slowly, turning her head to look at Victor.
A sly curve touched her lips as her gaze lingered on him. "And now she wants to trade those secrets by marrying you. That is quite the proposal, don't you think?"
She chuckled under her breath, "Not bad, Mr. Victor. You really are catching every fish in the sea these days, aren't you?"
Victor shot her a flat look, "That's not funny."
"Hahaha," Dora laughed openly, her shoulders shaking slightly as she leaned closer to him while they walked.
