"Nooo! I don't want to be in Gryffindor!" Ginny yelled out gaining the attention of the whole Hall. Students and teachers both looked at her in surprise. Most of all it was the Head of the Gryffindor house, Minerva McGonagall.
Weasley's have traditionally all gone to Gryffindor House. And now their youngest child rejects the house and it was basically a slap to her face. Especially after how lenient she has been towards the twins.
The Twins and Percy facepalmed. Ron just looked a little red. When his roommates looked at him. Surprisingly Snape, Dumbledore and Harry all had the same reaction, they just raised an eyebrow.
Snape was just an ass and enjoyed anything that ruined the reputation of Gryffindor. Dumbledore because he suddenly recalled the plan about Ginevra and Harry and it turned out like this. It was such a small thing compared to all the troubles he has had lately that it actually amused him.
Harry also knows the plan about him and Ginny. And this little stunt was just funny to him.
"Ginevra, stop this instant. Once the Sorting Hat has decided there is no changing its mind" McGonagall said in a stern tone
"But I want to go to Ravenclaw!" Ginny complained with tears forming in her eyes as she lovingly 'cough 'crazily' cough' looked at a particular green eyed boy.
Minerva quickly figured out the situation 'Well that is a disaster waiting to happen. What in the blazes has Molly been telling this girl?! There are easier ways to commit suicide.
The Sorting Hat snorted ' Stupid ginger. Not only are they soulless but apparently this one is brainless as well. Should have just sent her to Ravenclaw and let her die'
" There is no Resorting. Now make your way to the Gryffindor Table before I call your mother" McGonagall looked at the little girl with a serious expression
Ginny had tears in her eyes as she made her way to where her brothers were at. But she also looked at the Ravenclaw table. She saw the girls were around Harry and now her best friend Luna was with them. 'Stupid tramps. But how could Luna do this to me. She was my closest friend. Unforgivable! She is not my friend. And I will show her, I will show all of them! Harry is MINE!'
What she didn't know that Hope was the one who was using Legilimency on her. She doesn't like doing this since its an invasion of privacy. But the girl looked odd and distressed. So she was curious if there was something wrong with her. She never imagined this.
'Wow. She really is crazy' Hope dug deeper into her memories and just treated this as practice, Ginny already hated her and now her curiosity was stirred.
'That is one brainwashed kid. Daphne told me stories about how people worshiped Harry from his Fantasy Books. But this one takes the cake. Her mother insisted and assured her that she would marry Harry one day and they would live happily ever after inside a Castle like a king and queen. In a way it is not her fault, she has been force fed that 'fantasy' her entire life. And its now a crucial part of her personality.
Harry said that our memories and experiences shape our personality. Without those you might as well be dead, and what's left would be an entirely different person in your body. Like amnesia patients. Even if we try and fix her by removing those memories, she would no longer be herself anymore. The only way for her to be whole is to break out of the prison she has created by her 'dreams and ideals' poor girl ' Hope felt bad for Ginny, but there was nothing that could be done. And if the girl crossed the line then that was it.
Harry made sure to drill it in everybody's head to not show mercy even to a child. Every wizarding child can just point their wand and cause a lot of harm even without using Dark Spells.
With Ginny sitting down at the Gryffindor Table the Sorting was officially over. After that debacle did Harry finally saw this years DADA teacher... Remus Lupin.
Dumbledore stood up and coughed in his feast making every student in the Great Hall turn towards him. "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts. As many of you have noticed we have two new faces here at the Professors Table. First I would like to introduce you to Remus Lupin your new professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts.
"Another new professor?" A third year said with confusion, he had assumed that the professor from his first year would come back. Since Quirrell disappeared last year
"Kid there is a new one every year" A seventh year just shook his head, he turned to his group.
"How long do you think this one will last"
" 2 Sickles that he is out before Halloween"
"3 Sickles that its until the end of the year"
"I'm matching your bet and I say that he will die ON Halloween"
The older years started to place bets amongst themselves. Seeing that the gossip wasn't stopping Remus just stood up. "Greetings as Headmaster Dumbledore said, I am Remus Lupin and I look forward to being your teacher. I hope I can be a better example than your previous professors" he said with a small smile.
'Huh, didn't notice him when I entered the Hall that's unusual of me. Well he is so insignificant it wouldn't matter. And I was focused on Dumbledore with our little game.' Harry shrugged his shoulders. Remus was insignificant to him, beside him being a werewolf there was nothing interesting about him.
And Harry has plenty of other werewolves to interact with for research purposes. To help his people first and foremost.
Dumbledore smiled "And our second teacher I present to you Rubeus Hagrid who is now the Care of Magical Creatures professor. Your previous teacher Silvanus Kettleburn has decided to retire and i quote 'to enjoy more time with his remaining limbs' " the headmaster let out a goodhearted chuckle.
Harry just deadpanned at the man. 'Real smooth bumblebee. That was dark and it did not set a good tone for new students. People here are stupid. You pull that stunt in the US and you are getting sacked. Who wants to be in a class where the professor loses limbs to the creatures students are supposed to be studying.'
"Harry didn't you sign of for that?" Hope asked with a raised eyebrow
"Yeah. I knew that the half-giant would be the next professor. And i have a solid grasp on his personality. The man is kind, loyal but also an airhead and a moron. He thinks Dragons are cute. So there is a chance he will bring some dangerous creature to the class. Easy samples. I don't even have to do anything"
Hope and Daphne refused to facepalm, they already got used to Harry's shenanigans. Hope has been with Harry much longer, but Daphne had adapted. You think of these moments as just 'Harry things'.
"Well now that that's settled Let the Feast Begin" Dumbledore said with a wide smile as he clapped his hands. Food appeared on the table and students enthusiastically started to dig in.
The firsties look at the food with awe, but the older ones were just starving. Ron the glutton just kept stuffing his face with food. His brothers on the other hand 'invited' Ginny over to sit with them. Well more like they told her.
"What were you thinking!" Percy hissed lowly at Ginny who had a sad expression on her face "Talking back to Professor McGonagall like that" Percy was more worried about how this will affect him rather than the family's reputation. Their reputation was already rock bottom anyway.
The Twins on the other had looked amused as hell. Both of them had grins on their faces.
"Ohh quite bold of you Gin-Gin"
"Talking back to that scary old cat like that"
"Mom is going to explode"
"Heh, I'd bet she would hex someone"
They were only making things worse. And that was fine for them. They thrive in chaos. Especially after learning that God Loki was real. Which means all the other gods were probably real too. But that doesn't matter to them at all.
Gods were real, that means godly pranks were real too. They have much more to learn. Hogwarts, The Ministry, Dark Lords, None of that matter now. All that matters is pranking everybody up the ladder until they reach God Loki. This was the best way they could think of to repay him for his kindness.
The twins had their world view broken to pieces and the lesson they got from that is 'do more pranks'
"But I wanted to go to Ravenclaw" Ginny said with tears in her eyes.
"Why" Percy couldn't understand. You sit down, you get sorted. Simple as that. And she got sorted into the house where her family was. What was the problem?
"I wanted to be with Harry" Ginny mumbled
Percy and the Twins looked at her with eyes wide open
"Whupt" Ron's head snapped towards his sister, his mouth full with food as he looked at her with shock and anger. He felt betrayed.
"Harry Potter?" Percy said in disbelief
"Wizard Extraordinaire?"
" 'Look at me wrong and I will kill you' Potter?"
Ginny only nodded and the twins looked at each other and then back to Ginny "Good luck with that"

Harry looked at the Staff Table and suddenly had a thought. A very interesting thought.
'You know what. Dumbledore is looking a bit too comfortable even when he looks tired. Lets change that.' Harry quickly sent a message to Black Kaiser who was doing a job in Germany.
[Blow up the front of the German Ministry of Magic then place the Deathly Hollow mark in the sky]
Harry grinned and Hope immediately caught on to that and kicked him under the table "what did you do" she whispered to him.
"Something fun" Harry whispered back and then he got a reply from Kaiser
[Sure, but can i ask why Boss?]
Harry smiled at that 'Good the ring is working as intended. I doubt he even realizes that his personality is changing when it comes to me'
[To mess with Dumbledore]
The reply came back instantly [Say no more]
'Hehehe. Perfect'
A white falcon arrived near Dumbledore. It was a Patronus message. Albus frowned, he recognized the Patronus, it was Kingsley Shacklebolt's Patronus.
"Dumbledore! He appeared in Germany! The Ministry there was attacked!"
Albus's eyes widened. He quickly stood up but then froze in place. He was about to call for his Phoenix but he didn't have Fawkes anymore. He scowled at the memory of his empty office.
Albus directly appreciated out of Hogwarts and was on his way to the International Portkey's to go to Germany. He didn't trust the people there to recognize Grindelwald's magical signal. It might have been his Acolytes who did the attack, and he can trace their signal better than the Aurors there could.
Harry smiled once he saw Dumbledore leave. 'Ahhh, what a perfect way to start the new year'

I think this is a good representation of the twins at this time. Stupid teenagers who don't even process the concept of consequences. Their mind is filled only with pranks. No matter how stupid or cruel the pranks might be.
