"Nymeria is busy cooking." She said, tiptoeing. "We have some time free."
Her lips met mine before I could reply to her.
Her lips were soft, like a memory I had forgotten how much I needed.
For a moment, I couldn't think anything as my mind remained blank.
But then instinct took over, and I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer.
Her skin brushed against mine, faint but warm, like it was recognizing an old rhythm.
When she finally pulled back, her crimson eyes lingered on me.
"You really did bring me back," she whispered, almost in disbelief. "I can feel you again… the same as before."
I smiled faintly. "Not the same," I said. "I've changed a lot since then."
Her hands still wrapped around me as she smiled.
"I would love to see that." she said teasingly, brushing a strand of my hair aside
I sighed, a small laugh slipping out. "You never change, do you?"
"Why should I?" she said with a small smirk. "You still fall for it every time."
