"Let's talk about the reason you were summoned," Zekiel said, his voice firm.
I held back my smile as I picked up the document.
'Time to suck them dry.'
I flipped open the folder.
The first thing that caught my eye was the sketches of the man.
'...Calling it man doesn't seem right.'
It was a skeletal figure with patches of flesh here and there.
Its head was adorned with twelve eyes, ribs exposed like warped cage bars, and black roots spiraling out from its spine into the void.
"The Dead God…" I muttered, eyes scanning the text.
"Legus," Seraphina said, watching me carefully. "He was a high-ranking member of the Dark Trinity before he offered himself as a vessel for the Dead God."
I nodded quietly, flipping through the pages. "How strong is he?"
"Mid Eternal when he was last spotted," Caldus replied, leaning back on his chair. "...That was a few days ago."
I quietly looked at him as I placed the document down.
