The steam of the hot water clung around her form, the water droplets beaded off her skin, cleansing her of the aftermath of today's events.
Yet she still felt dirty.
She knew why, she was not some clueless girl obtuse to her own feelings, but it was those very feelings as to why she was feeling so unclean.
Resting her hands against the wall, she allowed the water to run down her body for a few moments and sighed.
"He is your child..." She muttered to herself.
She had spoken those words a lot. Usually, saying it left her feeling bubbly inside. Her son was the best child a mother could have. Smart, handsome, powerful, good to his mamma. He was the whole package, but there were more adjectives to describe him. Adjectives a mother should never think about when thinking about their child.
Yet she couldn't stop.
