This isn't an actual chapter, but rather a question that I'm curious about for the future of this series.
Recently, I've been thinking about this series again and I'm curious if anyone who has read it would actually like to see it continue.
Now, what do I mean by "continue"? Well, it would take some time. I would need to go back and reread everything that has already happened because, to be honest, I've forgotten quite a lot. For the past month, though, I've been debating whether or not I should continue the story.
The main issue is that if I do continue it, things might feel a bit… odd.
The reason for that is because all of the notes I had written for the future of the series. including many of my plans for the story. were deleted from my laptop quite a while ago. Because of that, I can think of a few different options.
Option A:
I continue the story from where it left off. However, it will most likely be different from what I originally planned. The overall vibe might change slightly or it might change drastically, and some characters may act a bit differently than before. Certain plot points I was building toward might also never happen simply because I no longer remember them.
Option B:
I completely rewrite the story from the beginning. This version could include new ideas, possibly new characters, or even the same characters but written differently. The pacing might also change compared to the current version, meaning the story could be slower or faster depending on how things develop.
However, I'd like to leave this decision up to the people who actually read this series.
I'm also open to writing a completely new yuri/GL webnovel with a different plot entirely or something similar if that's something people would prefer instead.
If that ends up being the case, though, it may take a bit of time. Coming up with new ideas isn't always my strongest skill, surprisingly. It usually takes me a while to fully develop a concept. That said, I'll still post updates through this novel to let everyone know what's happening with the new project.
