Yoshi is standing in the arena ready to fight a beast without any weapon at his disposal. The bull turn around after it fail attempt ,it reb eyes stare at him before it charge at him for the second time. This time yoshi was prepared for it, he covered his body with mana, moved away with a sidestep and landed a punch on the bull's side before it pass him.

Yoshi was shocked by how tough it skin is but he is just that weak against a C rank beast after all he is still level 1.
'That hit is the best i can give but if i want to take it down just with that it will take around 80 hit to finish it. I need to come up with something that will do more damage to the the beast 'yoshi is racking his head to get some useful ideas and he just got one that will facilitate his win.
He was determine to win because the system just gave him a quest, his first quest.

Yoshi is not ready to fail his first quest. He rushed towards the coming beast with a serious face, before the bull hit him he moved aside and landed a punch covered with spark of lightening on the beast's side again.

Yoshi expected more but it will still do for now. The fight continued with him giving blows to the bull,he tried hitting around other places on its body but with it running he didn't get much a weak point.
Meanwhile the purple hair woman is looking at the fight while thinking.
'Interesting,he chosed to fight instead of escaping. The beast doesn't feel threatened by him , but I wonder what will happen once it realizes the danger. That should be fun to watch '
She is always ready to step up if she thinks the student is in danger. The test is not to fight a beast but it is to see how they react to danger and how each student try to overcome it. So far,most students decided to run once they realize the difference in strength and some even end up fainting. She was also expecting the blue haired boy to run around like any other student of his age but he decided to fight which he is doing well till now.
Yoshi just landed another hit on the beast which is slower than before and he is happy with his work so far.

By now yoshi know that he was fighting a mindless beast. Yoshi rushed after the bull to land another hit from behind but instead of it try turn, it shot out it back legs at him. He did not expect the attack at all and with his body leaning towards it legs just worsened things. Yoshi manage to cross his hands infront of him before the hit.

The blow sent him off his feet towards a wall, the earth wall was fine but the same can't be said for yoshi.

Yoshi fell on his knees trying to regain his bearing while coughing blood. He look up just to see a bull rushing at him with great speed. He hastily stood up and started running away while thinking of a plan.
'That is not how I imagine things to go. I completely forgot about beasts going berserk to not die.'
Meanwhile on the wall, the responsible for all this is watching with a smile on her face.
'That hit was quite powerful and the timing was not bad also, but it lack the element of suprise. Let see his next move.'
Yoshi is running inside the small arena being chased by a bull. He ran towards a wall stop infront of it and turn around, when it was about to hit him he try to move aside but the bull reacted fast and followed up. He received a headbutt on the stomach which sent him rolling beside,and the bull crashed into the wall due to it losing balance. Yoshi endured the pain and gave a quick look at his HP.

'shit, another hit and I'm done for'he cursed inside his head
Yoshi thought that the first attack took more Hp because he wasn't prepared for it but he is proven wrong. Yoshi is racking his head again to find a way to win but found none untill he remembers about his talent that he never used due to some nonsense reason in it description and activate it.
'Demon eyes '
His blue eyes became more deep and started glowing. He felt like he just found a missing part of his body,he is getting a pleasant feeling from this. He closed his now glowing eyes and take a breath in and stood up. Looking at the beast that was preparing to charge at him,he did not see much difference but when it started running he noticed the difference in speed. It is moving slowly from his point of view.
Yoshi jump out of the way not taking any risk of getting hit again. He first assume that his eyes just give him the ability to analyze his opponent's movements but when dodging he also realized the increase in speed.
Yoshi was eager to test the abilities of his eyes despite being afraid of the effects it can cause after, but he will not take any chance of losing this fight.
He jump a few meters away and started gathering mana around his right hand,soon after his hand is covered lightening instead sparks. The beast was still restless with him around so,it went for another charge rushing towards him but instead of dodging he took an odd fighting stance. His left leg facing infront while the right is facing behind with both knees bent and feet planted on the ground firmly. His right hand pulled backward with the left infront of him facing upward, the beast increase it speed of attack rushing at him but he did not flinch even for a moment.
The bull jump at him head first but he just rise his left hand still facing upward to block the attack.

"Counter"Yoshi's muscle clench when the hit connected due to pain but he still shot his right hand covered in lightning at the bull's head,it pierce the beast's skull with a bit of difficulty but it was not enough to save the poor beast from dead.
Yoshi pull out his hand which is covered with brain matter,the beast fall down and he fell on his butt. He wanted to verify the quest reward but felt a burning gaze on him. He look up just to see the crazy women who is their teacher grinning at him,he forgot that she was there observing the fight. Yoshi stood up and look at her waiting for her to say something.
But instead of speaking,she jump down and walk to the dead beast on the ground. She pulled a dagg out of thin air and tear the beast stomach open. She shot her hand inside and pull out a crystal. She looked at it before tossing it towards yoshi who caught it out of reflex.
"Not bad considering your age"
"Thank you madam "
She frowned when he called her madam. She motioned him towards the door that appeared on the wall and went back to her sitting place and fell in her thoughts while yoshi was heading out.
'I was not expecting him to win this match at all. The change in his speed and the counter thing he used is truly impressive .' she knew the level of the beast yoshi fought, after all she is the one who summoned it but to think he will win against it was out of the question. She decide to ask Drake about him after.

On the other side of the arena students are scattered around some in groups while others are alone. Yoshi was sitting alone at a corner of the compound savouring his hard work.

Yoshi stared at his status happily. It seems like the system will open more functions as he level but he tried back at lea but he got nothing and here he is level 7 after killing a beast. He turn his attention towards the crystal in his hand .

Yoshi noticed Sarah walking out of the earth arena with a tired face and the wall sank immediately after. The woman testing them walk to them and started speaking.
"Okay everyone,i have seen what I wanted to see and I have to say that I am disappointed in you guys but don't worry you will still learn here"
While she was talking yoshi tried to get her who she is with observe.
