Chapter 25 - Unnamed 1 - Entry 5

When the light faded, two metallic gloves adorned the goblin's hands. They were very big compared to her hands and covered her arms all the way down to her elbows. In addition, it didn't feel like they were just tools like the brass knuckles. It felt like they were actually a part of her hands.

Suddenly, the fog closed in around the goblin and flooded her vision. She could barely see her hands, it was so thick. Then the fog cleared and she found herself back in the mine. But at the same time, the gauntlets disappeared with the fog.

"What?! Oto what's going-" WHAM! The attack came out of nowhere and sent the goblin to the ground.

WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! . . .

The goblin tried to find her attacker, but before she could even turn her head more attacks rained down on her body.

. . . WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! . . .

When she was able to get a glimpse of her assailants, she saw the elves who'd been attacking her when Oto had summoned her.

. . . WHAM! WHAM! WHAM!

The gauntlets may have been gone, but the goblin had had enough. She pushed herself up and caught one of the elves' fists in her hand. For a moment, her eyes locked with the elf's. Then her anger burst forth and she thrust her free hand into the elf's torso.

Upon impact a tingling sensation coursed through the goblin's arm. It wasn't painful, but it wasn't pleasant either. Then her arm bulged and the elf was sent flying.

. . .

Everyone froze. Both the elves and the goblins looked on in shock and suspense. The elf now laid unconscious on the ground almost five times as far from the goblin as she was tall.

The development had also left the goblin dumbstruck. But her feat of strength couldn't compete with the sight of her own arm. She brought it back and lifted her other hand so she could compare them. The bigger one was three times the size of the other and the forearm it was attached to was almost as thick as her waist.

Its promotion to the rest of the goblin's body may have been ridiculous, but within the clenched fist she could feel power surging through her muscles. It felt similar to that of the brass knuckles', but it was more spread out and sturdy.

The goblin's awe was interrupted when she saw one of the elves begin to throw a punch in the corner of her eye. She intercepted the attack with her smaller arm. Then the sensation returned and the arm expanded to match the other.

With a quick glare, the goblin pushed the elf's thrust arm aside and struck them square in the chest. Only this time, the elf was sent flying into the wall of the cave.

The power surging in both her arms was intoxicating to the goblin. She wanted more. Fortunately, there were still elves she could unleash her wrath upon.
