Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The blue that came from the sky.

For the first time in their world.

The very unexpected natural manifestations finally transpired. It was fascinating and yet alarming at the same time.

Up above this heaven, the once cloudless sky of the blue had been flooded in under the hue of the gloom.

The thick, murky clouds swirled like a roaring dragon above the horizon. Twisting and rumbling with the occasional boom of those thunders.

The world was shaking with the raging wind blistered forth like a hurricane.

What a sight to behold, one must admit it.

However, in contrast to such a statement above, The Villar people were utterly frightened, to the point that even their scalps went numb.

Hiding within their house as they squatted down under the cover of belief.

Believing that the leader must have a solution to this.

And with that, the very beginning of the second crisis that Liam had anticipated would occur.

-

It was on a slightly elevated hill, a crisscrossed pathway towards the top, and there stood a person with his back facing this perspective.

The long river-like hair on the back and his youthful pair of eyes gaping towards the gloomy sky.

His heart was filled with amazement as he gazed dumbly toward the spectacular phenomena above.

He said, I wondered and wondered for the cause of such a heavenly sign.

"What are those black things up above?."

"Is this a sign?"

"Or is this a warning?"

Nonetheless, it was simply meaningless to think of the answer. May it be a warning or a gift? Does it have anything to do with him, a mortal?.

Not long after, there within his line of sight.

The whole world was suddenly bathed under the coating of thousands of blue.

The once-dried land was finally rejuvenated under this downpour, giving life again to this godless world.

But for him, this was simply a miracle.

"Isn't this?"

He blurted out in surprise after discerning this.

No, it can't be.

"Water?... "

"But how can it come from the sky instead of the lake?"

"This doesn't make any sense at all."

To him, the lake was the only water source in this world.

But today's phenomena instantly refreshed his tiny worldview from what it once was, from doubts to incomprehensible and even beyond one's thinking.

Moreover, he had been trying to uncover the mystery of the lake for many days already. But there was still no progress.

And now another mystery abruptly arrived in this world yet again.

Throwing him off from the balance under the beauty and strangeness of this world.

"It's called rain, young man."

"Who!?"

Abruptly, as he was about to leave this area. A distant and magnetic voice throbbed about from his right side.

Frightening him as he hurriedly drifted his gaze to the source of the sound.

But what joined into his sight would be a blurry figure shrouded in bright golden light.

Standing not too far away from him with those two visible golden eyes looking back at him.

"W-who are you?. State your name!"

Villar asked again in confusion. He took a step back in fright as he stuttered within his words.

And to his surprise, the blurry figure ignored his question and said.

"Tell me, Villar. What do you think of this world according to your current knowledge?"

"Do you hate it?."

"Do you love it?"

"Or are you aiming for the realm beyond this world's reach?"

Hearing this, Villar's orifices dilated in horror as he hurriedly shouted back.

" What are you talking about!."

" Don't talk nonsense. State your name now!"

And again, the blurry figure simply ignored his words and continued.

"This world is vast and endless. The constant expansion of the number till

beyond the infinite. And that brings the question of why, for one's existence."

"The self-proclaimed significance of existence that carried no value to the existing. It's like a very ruthless cycle in the span of millions."

The longer the blurry figure spoke.

The Villar's breathing became as if he couldn't comprehend the meaning of those sentences.

It was like a thousand thoughts being compressed into his mind in a split second.

And what came next would be nothing.

Like a plain white paper being unfolded into his eyes. Nothing to think of, speak of, or be fearful of.

A state of stagnation with his body trembling subconsciously. His finger twitched with his eyes quivering under the unknown.

And all of this happened without even him realizing it.

'What is this?'

'Am I still alive?'

'Where am I?'

'What am I?'

'What?'

This is the state of stagnation in his thoughts. Every confusion and every question in a single line.

But soon enough.

*tap!*

It was a hand protruding from the front.

Patting his shoulder lightly with Villar's vision being pulled back from the

nothingness.

It took him a moment before he could regain his senses again.

However, the moment he did so, his body immediately slumped back onto the ground with his legs numb.

Panting heavily, he desperately gasped for air to breathe.

Placed his hand on the side of his neck and shifted his gaze toward the

blurry figure in horror.

"Y-you!. What are you?!"

He yelled out his fear as he struggled to stand up.

And finally, this time, the blurry figure heeded his words and replied.

"I don't know what I am."

"But I am here today to warn you of a prediction."

Hearing this, Villar raised his eyebrows slightly and asked nervously.

"P-prediction?. What is that?"

"You may call it the many days of what will happen in the future."

"W-what?"

No matter how hard Villar tried to grasp his head around those words.

The result was none since all this information was too abrupt for him.

So many unknown words were tossed around above his head, and he simply couldn't understand what the blurry figure was trying to convey.

Seeing his flustered expression, the blurry figure simply continued.

"There will be one among your people that will rise to betray you. "

"He hated you for the differences that you had promoted. "

"He loathed you for the unequal treatment that you had rejected, and finally, "

" And he envied you for the achievement that you obtained."

Hearing this, Villar immediately refuted it, even if he was in a state of utter fear.

He loved his people more than anything else in this world. He trusted them completely to carry his legacy for the future and would do anything to help his people's difficulties.

And now, after hearing such a bland remark from a strange being like this.

He couldn't tolerate it and retorted back.

"Impossible!. My people will never betray me. I am their beloved leader. "

"I don't know what you are, but lying to me is meaningless!"
