Kakashi's expression turned sharp as his body shifted into a readied stance. He couldn't afford to waste any more time.

Sharingan!

With a single motion, his forehead protector lifted, revealing his left eye, the iconic blood-red iris swirling with three tomoe.

A wave of tension rippled through the battlefield.

Zabuza's grip on Kubikiribōchō tightened as he let out a low growl, his eyes flicking briefly toward Naruto.

That damn kid…

Even now, Naruto stood unmoved, his golden hair catching faintly in the cold air, his face calm as if he were merely observing a performance.

Zabuza's frown deepened.

Looks like this brat won't be making a move anytime soon…

His gaze snapped back to Kakashi.

Fine. Even if Kakashi was strong, it didn't change the inevitable.

"Even if you manage to defeat me…" Zabuza said, his voice low but firm. "You can't defeat Haku."

Then, he clapped his hands together.

"Ninja Art—Hidden Mist Jutsu!"

A thick veil of mist erupted across the battlefield, crawling like a phantom and swallowing everything in its grasp.

The temperature plunged, the bridge becoming nothing more than a cold, colorless void.

Kakashi instantly tensed, his eye darting in every direction.

The mist thickened rapidly, so dense that even his piercing Sharingan struggled to discern the shifting shadows within.

Naruto remained still, watching the mist spread with an amused smirk.

He's really trying to make a move against Kakashi-sensei with this?

He found Zabuza's strategy interesting but didn't interfere.

Kakashi frowned. Even with the Sharingan, his vision was compromised.

How the hell is he maneuvering so easily in this mist?

His answer came in the form of a voice—whispering through the fog like a ghost.

"I have closed my eyes."

The words echoed eerily, seemingly bouncing from every direction at once.

Kakashi stiffened.

Zabuza's voice slithered through the mist, growing closer—then further—then closer again.

"By using the mist and closing my eyes, I have effectively canceled the abilities of your perceptive eyes and hypnotic eyes."

A shadow shifted.

Kakashi spun but there was nothing.

Damn it…

His heartbeat slowed, his breath controlled—but his muscles remained taut, ready to react.

"But you will also lose your vision." Kakashi countered, his voice steady.

A chuckle.

"Did you forget…?"

The voice circled him like a predator stalking prey.

"I am a genius at silent killing…"

The words sent a chill down Kakashi's spine.

Zabuza's breathing never wavered.

There was no hesitation and uncertainty in his voice.

He was completely at home in this mist.

"A technique to find a target just by sound alone."

----

Inside the crystal mirrors

"Here I go," Haku's voice echoed ominously, and in that instant, the entire mirror network blazed with light.

Sasuke's Sharingan spun, his keen eyes trying to catch even a glimpse of Haku's movement, but the reflection of light from the mirrors fractured reality, making it near impossible to pinpoint where the attack would come from.

Tch!

Sasuke clenched his fists. He was finally seeing it.

The way Haku moved. The precise moment he slipped in and out of the mirrors.

"There!" Sasuke's eyes gleamed with determination as he burst forward, his body moving like a streak of black against the icy glow. He timed it perfectly—he dashed to where Haku would appear.

But he was slow by a fraction of a second, missing by a mere tenth of an inch.

That was the difference between his strike hitting nothing but air and Haku smoothly slipping away into another mirror.

Haku landed inside one of the reflections, his face calm but his mind slightly unsettled.

He almost got me…

Sasuke was learning and he was doing it fast.

But Haku was still faster. His sharp eyes swept over Sasuke's stance, his breathing, the tension in his muscles. The way his knees trembled ever so slightly. The strain on his expression was hidden behind a forced glare.

…But he's at his limit.

This next attack would end it.

Haku vanished once more, reappearing mid-air, his movements faster than before, his hands already launching a deadly flurry of senbon directly at Sasuke's vital points.

Sasuke's body tensed but the moment before he could even react, his legs buckled.

"!!"

Pain shot through every nerve in his body, and his breath caught in his throat.

His chakra was drained.

The constant use of his two-tomoe Sharingan alongside his chakra-enhanced speed had pushed him past his limits.

And now his body simply refused to move.

Haku's sharp gaze caught the moment Sasuke collapsed.

…It's over.

Thunk!

The sound of a body hitting the frozen ground echoed within the ice prison.

Haku landed softly beside him, eyes calm, but distant.

"Looks like his body gave up," He murmured, gazing down at Sasuke. His tone was neither mocking nor condescending—just a simple truth.

Then, slowly, his eyes lifted towards his next target.

Naruto.

A subtle shift in the air.

Haku stiffened.

Something was wrong.

Naruto had vanished from his spot.

Haku's heart skipped a beat—but before he could react, a whisper of movement brushed past him, and suddenly Naruto was there, standing beside Sasuke.

He was completely calm and unbothered. As if he had always been there.

Haku's eyes widened, a flicker of genuine shock passing through his usually unreadable expression.

What…? Neither was that speed not was that footwork.

"Wait!" Haku called out, instinctively trying to halt Naruto's actions.

But Naruto was already gone.

It was just a mere flicker and he disappeared.

Haku turned his head sharply—only to see Naruto outside the mirrors, standing beside Sakura.

It was done effortlessly like it was nothing at all. As if those inescapable mirrors meant nothing to him.

Haku's fingers curled around his senbon, his mind racing.

This… isn't normal.

Meanwhile, Naruto gently laid Sasuke down on the cold stone of the bridge.

His voice was casual. "Heal him!"

Sakura immediately nodded, her lips parting in an obedient, eager tone.

"Yes, Naruto-sama~" She giggled, eyes twinkling with delight at being given a task directly by him.

She crouched beside Sasuke, her fingers glowing faintly with chakra as she began tending to his wounds.

Of course, she was careful.

Too much healing and it would be difficult to explain to Kakashi later.

And she had no intention of disappointing her master.

As for Naruto... Without missing a beat, he turned and with a simple, effortless step, he vanished once more.

Haku barely had time to brace himself.

Because in the next instant, Naruto was back inside the mirrors.

His expression was calm and his posture relaxed, like he was not facing a strong enemy but dealing with a child.

His eyes were glowing with an unreadable intensity.

Haku exhaled, steadying himself.

This… this feels different.

Naruto… was not like Sasuke.

And Haku had the strangest feeling...

That something dangerous had just stepped into his domain.
