The ice sphere shattered, evaporating into steam before the inferno consumed the fiend in a maelstrom of fire.

The beast retaliated with an arctic breath. Frost surged toward him in a suffocating blast, but he dove behind a jagged stalagmite, then shot forward in a fiery counterattack.

A claw slashed at him. He twisted midair, landing on the creature's wind-like arm before burying both daggers deep into its limb.

A deafening roar echoed through the cavern as the fiend lunged, jaws snapping shut in an attempt to devour him whole.
Daisuke reacted instantly.
Golden chains burst forth, wrapping around the creature's upper and lower jaws. With a forceful yank, he pried them apart, holding the beast's maw wide open.
Cryosirentis thrashed violently, its monstrous eyes filled with outrage.
Daisuke leapt back, raising a dagger as fiery embers gathered at its tip.
