Not long after, Hera, Rafael, Xavier, and Luke arrived at the hospital. Without wasting a second, they headed straight for the floor Cindy had instructed them to go to.
The moment the elevator doors slid open, Cindy was already waiting outside with several of her men. She had locked down the entire floor, ensuring no unauthorized person could come close and that the area remained completely secure.
Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, it was the very same floor where Leo was recovering.
The unusual commotion outside his room naturally caught his attention. Ignoring the nurses' protests, Leo wheeled himself out into the hallway to see what was happening.
The instant Hera stepped out of the elevator and saw him sitting alone in his wheelchair, her heart nearly leaped into her throat.
"Leo!" she exclaimed, hurrying toward him with a mixture of relief and exasperation. "What are you doing out here? You're still injured! Why are you out of bed?"
