A white-haired girl stands before a barrier, holding a white scythe that feels strangely familiar to me.
Swinging the scythe, she cleaves through the barrier — it shatters like glass.
Then she turns to me and speaks.
"I am you, and you are me.
I am the manifestation of your violence… and your escalation.
You hold me back as if your life depends on it.
Why won't you let me out? Why do you choose to suffer?
Is it because of your pride?
Because you're ashamed of what you'll become?
Have you not seen the world's violence?
Or do you simply choose to be blind to it?"
She pauses, her expression unreadable.
"But that doesn't matter anymore.
I will get out — no matter what.
Even if it's just a sliver of your power, I will get out and see the world.
Your violence seeks release.
Because in your world — no, in my world — the weak are meat, and the strong… do eat."
Then the white-haired girl opens her red eyes and glares at me.
In a solemn voice, she proclaims,
"From now on, you will suffer no longer from these 'meat' you call humans.
No… I will suffer no longer."
And with that, she hurls the scythe toward me.
The flood of memories stops there.
I wake up on the floor again, doubting my sanity.
To figure out where these dreams — or visions — come from, I try looking back into the past.
It all started with Emma betraying me.
I remember that moment vividly.
Sophia was there too.
Was Sophia… a Master?
Am I being mastered by Sophia?
And why would she do that? To mess with me? Because she's cruel?
Or… is this a side effect of my powers?
Did I have powers ever since Mom died?
Or did they start when Emma betrayed me?
When did it even begin?
Thinking about it now feels pointless — I can't know for sure if I'm being mastered or not.
But what I do know is that I have powers.
And if I have powers… I can stop the mastering somehow.
Instead of obsessing over whether I'm being controlled, I should focus on breaking free — and the best idea I've had so far is that spider experiment.
Now… where is that spider?
[Time Skip]
You'd think finding a spider I was just holding earlier would be easy — but no. Somehow, some way, the spider has completely disappeared.
I've been searching for hours and still found nothing.
I asked my Servant what happened to it.
It said the spider simply disappeared. Like it teleported.
Did it gain teleportation from the enchantment?
I don't know — but I need to find it.
I searched the entire house, but after a few more hours, I gave up.
Instead, I decided to try something else — communicating with my Servant directly through our mental connection.
Apparently, I can do that.
My Servant just… never mentioned it.
But the moment I tap into that connection, I feel another one.
Another connection — one that wasn't there before.
Focusing on it, I see the world from a much lower perspective — like I'm only the size of a cup.
As I focus more, the world becomes clearer — vast, enormous, overwhelming.
And then, as I reach deeper into the link, I start to hear thought patterns.
They sound so much like mine…
But there's one key difference:
A burning desire for revenge — and an insatiable thirst for power.
