The cool night breeze carried away the sultry and ambiguous atmosphere inside, it was late at night.
On the bed in the bedroom, Gu Cheng'an held Ji Xiaoxi, breathed a long sigh of relief, turned his head, pecked Ji Xiaoxi's cheek, "Finally understand what 'one day apart feels like three years,' I never want to be separated from you again."
"Then, I have some bad news to tell you."
Ji Xiaoxi propped herself up and lay on Gu Cheng'an's chest as she spoke.
"Bad news? Baby, do you think now is the time for bad news?"
Gu Cheng'an looked at Ji Xiaoxi punitively, then, with a slap, a crisp sound echoed from under the quilt.
Wincing in pain, Ji Xiaoxi bowed her head, then proudly raised her chin and quickly said, "I've accepted a role in a film, I need to head to the set on the first, and it'll take about two months before I'm back."
Two months?
Gu Cheng'an sat up in shock, "Xiaoxi, you're taking my life here."
