"S-Should I… give you two some privacy?"
After a long while, Wen Nuan asked in a timid voice.
"Privacy? Where exactly are you planning to hide?"
Chuckling, Fu Mingyu said softly, "Even if you hide all the way to the Ends of the Earth, I'll still drag you back and tie you firmly to my side."
As he spoke, he leaned over and kissed Wen Nuan on the cheek, then flipped over and got up, heading toward the bathroom.
She looked up at him, then quickly ducked her head again, cheeks burning red. In her mind, though, she shyly thought: that whole "third leg" metaphor is… scarily accurate.
The sound of running water splashed in the bathroom. Stretching lazily, Wen Nuan had just relaxed when Fu Mingyu's phone suddenly started ding-ding-dong-dong nonstop.
She had zero intention of paying it any mind and was still enjoying her stretch when Fu Mingyu called out, "Nuan Nuan, get the phone…"
