"Finished handling it?"
Qin Yuji was lying on the bed playing on her phone. Seeing Chi Jingxuan stride over, she put down the phone, sat up, and softly asked.
Chi Jingxuan nodded, not wanting to discuss unpleasant matters late at night. He pinched her nose, kissed her, and then headed into the bathroom with a towel.
Understanding his intent, Qin Yuji didn't press further. She put on her shoes and went downstairs.
Shortly after Chi Jingxuan returned to the room, Qin Yuji came up carrying two cups of hot milk.
Lying on the bed, each holding a cup and finishing their drinks, Chi Jingxuan frowned.
"What's wrong?"
Seeing him glance suspiciously at the cup, smacking his lips as if something was off, Qin Yuji turned around and asked.
"Is the milk spoiled? Why does it taste a bit sweet..."
Chi Jingxuan asked with a puzzled look.
Chi Jingxuan didn't really like sweets, so neither Qin Yuji nor Sister Ming would add sugar to his milk before bed.
