The afternoon classes passed in a blur, and when the first evening self-study session began, the homeroom teacher came back to the class.
The classmates initially thought he was there to maintain discipline, but then they saw him walk straight to Xiu Xi: "Xiu Xi, your father is here, in the principal's office. You should go over there."
Xiu Xi was explaining a physics problem to Jiaojiao when they both looked up at his words.
"Go on, your father is waiting for you in the principal's office. You know where it is, right? It's the third room from the left on the second floor of the scientific building." Seeing Xiu Xi remain still, the homeroom teacher urged him again.
The scientific building housed the school's teaching equipment and several meeting rooms, with a total of just two floors and eight classrooms.
