Qin Shaonan walked over, bent down, and looked at the old lady, "Give her to me."
His voice was devoid of any warmth, utterly ordinary, yet it was enough to make the old lady feel somewhat apprehensive.
She handed Nini to Qin Shaonan.
Qin Shaonan took Nini in his arms and looked at her, "Where does it hurt?"
Nini's eyes brimmed with a large tear, "My whole body itches."
Qin Shaonan held Nini's hand.
Nini wept softly.
Listening, Qin Shaonan's brow furrowed tighter and tighter. He looked towards Qin Shaojin, "Could you check if the blood test results are back?"
Qin Shaojin got up and went to the blood test center to check; they weren't ready yet, so he stood there waiting.
After more than ten minutes, the results came out. The data was overwhelming; he took a glance and couldn't understand, so he went straight to the fourth floor.
