Yuta crept through the streets like a ninja in a hoodie, sunglasses on, head down. He had just healed All Might and didn't want anyone stopping him for pictures, autographs, or worse—interviews.
'Only home is the safe place in this world…'
He even dodged a reporter by jumping into a trash can. "Which game should I start first? Damn, how many TV shows I missed out on," he muttered, giddy, completely forgetting that time in this world was the same as when he left.
He hadn't missed out on any games or shows. He had only been gone for a few hours at best.
After the world's stinkiest stealth mission, he finally made it home. He slipped inside and sighed in relief. "Safe."
'Ah, my Observation Haki is getting better…' He smirked.
Then he looked up.
And nearly dropped dead.
There stood Maki—hair tied casually in a ponytail, wearing a short skirt and a plain tank top, sipping juice like it was nothing. But to Yuta, she looked like a model straight out of a beach magazine. His brain didn't just short-circuit—it exploded.
He forgot all his heroic healing and interdimensional travel. Right now, he was just a guy with a crush.
'Damn… mind, don't fail me now. Come on, work.'
"You're staring," Maki said, raising an eyebrow with a smirk.
"I know!" Yuta replied, his eyes fixed on Maki's legs—or at least that's how he made it look. She already knew he liked her legs. It was better for her to think that was all he was looking at right now… because Yuta was looking at more than just those legs.
That tank top didn't do much to hide Maki's top…
She chuckled. "Geez, you're getting more perverse as time goes on."
"And yet you're here—living alone with a perverted guy in his house. What does that make you…?" Yuta shot back.
Maki smirked and tilted her head, clearly enjoying the back-and-forth. "So, where've you been, lover boy? You smell like garbage."
"Strategic evasion," Yuta mumbled.
Maki snorted, not intending to ask what he meant exactly. Knowing him, it would be something outrageous. She turned around, flashing that nicely shaped round ass as her eyes flicked to Yuta's.
Knowing exactly where he was looking, she added a little sway to her walk as she headed inside, a knowing smirk on her face.
It wasn't new—she'd done this before. However, not to this extent. Perhaps because now she was sure she was serious about him and not just passively teasing.
But Yuta, staring at that glorious back, suddenly snapped out of it and called out.
"Hey, Maki…"
She paused… and slowly turned to him. That wasn't a teasing tone he used. What kind of trouble had he stirred up now?
"Wanna go on a date? With me?" he asked, cursing himself for the lack of tact.
But now that he thought about it, he only knew how to be straightforward. It was the same with Toru…
'What was it…? A little daring in life, was it…?' he muttered with a small sigh to himself.
There was a long pause. The juice box made a soft slurp as Maki took one last sip. Then she blinked. "What?"
"A date," Yuta said again, this time with more courage. "You and me. No curses. No pirates. Just… lunch or a walk. You know."
Maki looked genuinely shocked for a second. Her heavenly-restricted mind couldn't understand this boy sometimes.
All this time, him flirting with her and her giving the attention back—and only now he asked her out, and that too without any sense of tact…
'Just wanna go out… that's it?'
Then she grinned, shaking her head like she couldn't believe it.
"Finally," she muttered, then poked him in the forehead—a little too hard for his liking. She was still a superwoman-level entity.
"So, you're not completely hopeless after all. What took you so long, idiot…"
"Huh?…" Yuta was speechless. Did he miss something?
"So… is that a yes?"
"Yes, dummy." She knocked him right on the head.
Yuta smiled like he'd just won the Grand Line lottery, even though it hurt like hell. A little RCT was already fixing his head, just in case something broke.
Maki just rolled her eyes. "Give me some money. I don't have anything to wear for the date."
"Ah… what's the problem with what you're wearing now…" he asked, looking back at those explosive creamy white legs, but still taking money from his storage space and handing it over nonetheless.
Maki rolled her eyes even more, easily noticing what he was staring at.
Then a mischievous smile appeared on her face as she slowly closed the gap…
"Be a good boy and maybe you'll see more than just legs…" she said in a husky voice near his ear.
Yuta blinked… and blinked again…
Was she indicating what he thought she was indicating? If so, then maybe it made sense why he was having such a hard time controlling his king's engine from erupting.
Seeing him frozen, her small smile spread into full-blown laughter.
"I'm off…" And then she left, her hips swaying extra hard—at least until his eyes were no longer on them.
Once she was gone, Yuta snapped out of his daze… and a big, sizable blush covered his face.
"God damnit. How dare that woman take advantage of my virgin heart…" He gritted his teeth. He had completely frozen back then.
"Never again…
She wants to play… fine.
I'll go Plus Ultra too…"
