Ficool

Chapter 5 - CH: 5 Come on, Moony

With a flick of the wand, the curtains in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows automatically move left and right.

Moonlight pours into the house.

Lupin opens his eyes wide and looks at the full moon outside the window in horror, "Don't do this, don't do this, no!"

Fiennes chuckles, "Relax."

After a while, Lupin's body is covered with thick wolf fur, and his head seems to contain a lively rabbit, constantly bumping from side to side.

In the end, it turns into a huge wolf head.

Lupin, who is half-dangling in mid-air, becomes huge, supporting the ground with his feet, struggling to make the chains rattle.

"What a perfect magical Animagus." Fiennes marvels as if looking at a work of art.

"Did you know?" He turned his head to look at Anton like a madman, his eyes bloodshot and filled with excitement. "They don't understand. This is the perfect magical Animagus, the only magical creature in the world that humans can transform into. It's a terrifying war machine that can be easily replicated."

"Confringo!" The light of the spell flickers.

The light blows on Lupin's body, and several wolf feathers fly, and the exposed skin is just a little scratch.

"Look, look."

Fiennes tuts, "How perfect."

"Praise the ancient wizards!." He laughs, "praise their great creation, created the only magical creature in the world, Animagus."

"Praise Democris Belby, he invented the Wolfsbane potion, which made up for the irrational shortcomings of the werewolf."

"Praise Alex Fiennes!, I will improve this magic so that people can become a werewolf anytime, anywhere!."

Amidst the roar of the werewolf, Fiennes shouted like a madman.

He waves his wand and points at Anton, "Drink up that pot of 'Oculus' potion."

Anton remained silent for a moment, then picked up the crucible and drank it all.

A burst of icy cold washes over his brain, and suddenly, he blinks suspiciously.

He discovers that he now has an extra eye!

In his field of vision, the old wizard becomes a bright human-shaped block, and the gray-brown is mixed with traces of dark green. Those dark-green filaments seem to be cracked. As long as you look closely, you can roughly distinguish three peculiar patterns.

It looks exactly like the rune in the pattern on his wrist!

Lowering his head, he noticed that beneath the seemingly uneven wooden floor, the peculiar pattern of gray-brown blocks and dark green threads emitted the light of a magic circle.

Raising his head, Lupin's body was filled with countless light blue lines, swirling and twisting like the tides of the sea.

This sensation was incredibly strange.

And every time he tried to observe more closely, it felt as if his head was cracking under the weight of the information.

The discomfort made him feel nauseated and retched for a while.

"Hahaha!" Fiennes laughed hysterically , "The potion I developed is amazing, alright!"

"Quick, cast the Soul-shifting charm on this werewolf."

Fiennes excitedly handed the old wand to Anton, the eagerness in his eyes burning.

Anton just looked at him calmly, "Teacher, since this potion is so amazing, why don't you drink it yourself?"

Whenever Fiennes asked a question when he was anxious, he would either be blown away by a curse or quickly answer his own question without thinking. This is the experience Anton had summed up.

He bet the old wizard was begging himself now and would not dare to kill him.

"The magic potion of wizard eyes requires strong physical fitness, and my body is weak enough to barely maintain balance." Fiennes looked at Anton anxiously, "My body can no longer bear even a drop of magic potion."

"Quick, my precious apprentice, cast the Soul-shifting charm on this werewolf, and let us enter the final step of this great experiment."

"Really?" Anton smiled lightly.

He waved his wand and pointed at Lupin, "Out of Body!"

The curse light flickered.

An invisible force linked him and the werewolf.

"That's right, that's it." Fiennes anxiously picked up a document on which a strange pattern was drawn with dark green potion.

"Quick, close your eyes, use your 'Oculus' to look into the body, and tell me, what are these missing lines?"

Under the dual effects of the Soul-shifting charm and the potion, Anton only felt that the whole world was shaking frantically.

A feeling of extreme panic scratched at him, and there were lines of frantic movement everywhere, blinding him to the point of vomiting.

Perhaps it was the experience of Cruciatus many times that made him gradually endure it.

He stared closely at the surging picture in the body and finally saw that the dark green cracks seemed to be lines, doing strange relaxation and closure with the surging of the whole.

A magical and wonderful pattern.

Finally, as if the taut rubber band was stretched to the end, he was pulled back by a huge force.

He breathes heavily, as if he had been suffocating for a long time.

Or perhaps, indeed, for a long time, he stared blankly at the sunlight outside the window and Lupin, who had returned to his human form.

It was already noon, but he felt like only a few minutes had passed!

"Quick!" Fiennes anxiously placed a piece of parchment in front of him, "While you still remember it, help me fill in the pattern!"

The parchment had clearly been recorded many times, with different ink colors in several places.

Anton pursed his lips, took the quill, and added to it carefully.

"Haha, perfect, perfect!" The old wizard marveled at the connected brushstrokes, but then frowned at one of them, "No, why is it connected here? What does it mean?"

Because this was a deliberately wrong drawing by me! Anton smiled and observed the old wizard's reaction.

This kind of deceptive line must be very frustrating, don't you think?

After two months of observation, he knew this dark wizard too well.

He was a madman who conducted magical research through unscrupulous means. When faced with a problem that was difficult to solve, he could stand there for an entire day.

And at this moment...

Anton quietly picked up the cauldron behind him. It was placed there immediately after drinking the potion, with the intention of keeping the old wizard from noticing.

Because...

There was still a small amount of potion left in it.

"No, no." The old wizard continued muttering, but suddenly, a trace of coldness entered his mouth, "Gurgle."

He widened his eyes and looked at the cauldron in Anton's hand in disbelief, asking, "What did you drink on my behalf?

Anton smiled slightly, his other hand already reaching into the air, grabbing his wand and pulling it down.

He rolled on the ground and approached the iron frame of the werewolf.

"No! No!" Dark green cracks appeared on Fiennes's body, "No!"

The cracks grew larger and larger, and a pattern of light extended vertically from under the collar, dividing his head in two.

And yet, he was still alive.

"You actually gave me a potion! You bloody idiot! Ah!"

He let out a shrill roar, louder than the tortured Anton, "Give me back my wand!"

Fiennes vigorously waved his fingers.

A beam of light shot past.

Depend on!

Wandless Magic!

The speed was extremely fast, making it impossible to dodge!

Anton stumbled and fell to the ground, but his eyes gleamed, "The Cruciatus Curse?"

And was the Cruciatus curse weaker than usual?

He had become too accustomed to it. In the past two months, he had been subjected to it twice every three days. His body should not be too familiar with the sensation of the Cruciatus Curse.

He gritted his teeth and got up, shoving Fiennes's wand into Lupin's hand.

"It's your turn now, Moony! C'mon"

Lupin was stunned by the situation and gently shook his wand, causing all the chains on his body to fall off.

He waved his wand again, deflecting the Cruciatus Curse shot by the Fiennes.

With a smile, he turned to look at Anton, who was sitting on the ground, "The name is Remus Lupin".
