"Where do you live?"
Savanna Moger lowered her head and followed in step behind Hayden Summers. "Rivile University. I haven't graduated yet, I live in the school dorm."
"Oh, no wonder you're so young and pretty!"
The elevator doors slid open silently. Savanna and Hayden walked in one after the other. After the doors closed, the elevator began descending smoothly from the 38th floor. When it reached the 31st, the lights suddenly flickered, and a creaking sound reached their ears.
Savanna glanced at the display screen and said nervously, "The elevator isn't going to malfunction and trap us in here, is it?"
Before she could finish, the elevator jolted violently several times, scaring her so badly she grabbed onto Hayden beside her. The next second, it plummeted downward, and a gut-wrenching scream tore from her throat.
