The next day, Wyatt Perry drove to work. Just as the car was leaving the estate, a large tree fell down, blocking his way.
Wyatt got out of the car to check and saw that he could drive around the tree from one side, so he didn't call the housekeeper to clear it. Someone would naturally come to clear it later.
He returned to the car and was about to drive when a cold gun pressed against his head.
Through the rearview mirror, Wyatt saw Tanasha's cold and striking face, her long and narrow eyes squinting suddenly.
He hadn't expected Tanasha to be so carefree; he thought she would have been captured already.
"Return the USB to me!" Tanasha said coldly.
She looked somewhat disheveled, with dried grass tangled in her messy hair and her face dirty. Her expression was tense, clearly showing that the days in hiding were tough, especially alone, like a stray dog barely surviving.
Wyatt replied without changing his expression, "I don't have it on me."
