Vindy Sladder stopped in front of Claudia Ross, chin slightly raised, eyes filled with disdain, arrogantly saying, "Mrs. Perry, only I can save the Windrise Group now. You wouldn't watch all that Mr. Perry worked for go up in flames, would you? So selling the shares to me is the best choice. Besides me, no one else would want to buy the shares you're holding."
Claudia Ross asked indifferently, "How much are you offering then?"
"Two billion." Vindy Sladder said in a condescending tone, "Not a penny more. This is a friendly price; after today, no one would dare to take them even if given for free."
"Two billion? Ha!"
Vindy Sladder sure had the nerve to make such an offer.
