When Nana Monty returned to her seat, Jayden Maguire was already out of sight, which made her even angrier.
"Where's that bastard?"
Claudia Ross noticed that Nana Monty didn't really want to avoid Jayden Maguire.
She wanted to see him, but was annoyed. If she saw him, she'd scold him, and if she didn't, she'd worry.
"Jayden got a phone call earlier and left, saying he had a mission to take on. Seems pretty dangerous, hopefully nothing happens."
Claudia Ross deliberately exaggerated; the mission was real, but she didn't know if it was dangerous, and Jayden Maguire wouldn't tell her.
Upon hearing this, Nana Monty's face turned white with fright, her lips trembled: "What mission is he on, when will he be back..."
"I don't know, you call him yourself." Claudia Ross shrugged.
Nana Monty picked up her phone and then put it down again, stubbornly saying, "I'm not calling. If it's dangerous, so be it; it's got nothing to do with me."
