Esmee Perry's leg was injured and she couldn't take a bath, so Claudia Ross helped her wash up and change clothes.

"Mommy, I want to sleep with you." Her timid eyes seemed afraid that she would wake up to find Claudia Ross gone.
Claudia Ross lay beside Esmee Perry: "Alright, Mommy's here with you, go to sleep."

Holding Claudia Ross's hand, Esmee Perry quickly fell asleep.
Claudia Ross wanted to pull her hand away while she slept.
But as soon as she pulled her hand, Esmee Perry started crying, her eyes closed, crying and saying, "Mommy don't go, Mommy don't go..."
"Mommy's not going, Mommy's not going." Claudia Ross hurriedly put her hand back into Esmee Perry's small hand.
Esmee Perry didn't even open her eyes, holding her hand and became quiet.
