Mark Reed frowned and lowered his voice: "Sharry, say less."
Hearing Mark Reed not speaking up for her, Sharry Vaux felt even more aggrieved.
She pouted, on the verge of tears: "Mark Reed, are you my fiancé or Claudia Ross's fiancé? Why are you defending her? She caused our child's death. Don't you hate her? Our poor child..."
Claudia Ross hated Sharry Vaux's attitude of acting like the world owed her something.
She impatiently interrupted Sharry Vaux: "Aren't you done yet? Everyone knows how your child was lost. Don't pin the blame on me. I'm not taking the fall for this."
"If anyone is to blame, it's you for your own reckless behavior, causing the death of an innocent child. Yet, you refuse to admit your own mistakes. I truly pity your child; with a shameless mother like you, even if the child were born, they wouldn't be happy. They'd be better off finding a good home elsewhere."
Claudia Ross's words made Sharry Vaux burst into tears.
