I glanced towards my left observing a black fur of mass sleeping and comforting his way through my body heat.
A small smile plastered across my face unknowingly as I stroked his neck.

We both laughed togeather for a while until Fenrir who was sleeping next to me, jumped onto my thighs and lied down there.
I don't know how but stroking him and pep talking with Alice, time flew by and the next thing I know is that I'm sleeping on Alices' lap.
As I opened my eyes, I could see a young girl with bright crimson red hair leaning on a rock, fast asleep.
Her eyelids slowly fluttered open, revealing emerald green eyes gazing directly into mine.
The long pause was followed by a smile, a smile that could melt away anyone's heart.
Sometimes you find beauty on places you never think you would and on people you never thought about.
There are times when a human experiences various emotions looking at the opposite sex.
Be it may love, friendship, affection and Sometimes even lust. But there are times when one looks at the opposite with nothing but admiration.
Admiration for their beauty, not just external but also internal.
The feeling of protectiveness takes over more than anything, we start to feel as though we long them.
That's what I felt. Pure admiration for the young soul looking at me.
That innocent smile that I've never received. The sense of family which I never had and the feeling of longing which I never experienced.
"Beautiful", I subconsciously uttered as my gaze was still locked onto her's.
With a perplexed look she turned her gaze away.
"m....Morning." she said.
'Aah, maybe I was a bit loud. Well its understandable, she still is a kid and telling something like that to a kid makes me look like a creep. Maybe I should apologize later',
"Yeah morning", I said waking up.

"Mornin to you too, seems like you were awake early. Was Alice a comfortable pillow??" I joked.

I continued tickling and rubbing his back for a few minutes before getting up.
"Sorry for troubling you Alice. Well then let's get going",
I quickly woke up and did a few stretches.
I was going to miss today's exercises but there was no other way.
Early morning was the best time to return, considering we have one more mouth to feed, it's best to leave early.
I quickly freshened up near the stream and packed up my things.
I gestured Fenrir to jump onto my shoulders and made my way out of the cave.
Jack and Nero were already outside, scouting the area.
"Seems like someone had a fantastic sleep. Hahaha, wish I also could sleep on Alices' lap", Nero blabbered.

Ignoring the lame idiots I climbed up the horse and gestured Fenrir to sit in front of me.
"Let's move. We have a lot to report",
They all nodded as they equipped their ride.
