CHAPTER 11
We see Felix and Irene going upstairs. "What?" Felix and Irene huffing.
"Mali?" Felix said while talking to his phone. (Wrong place?)
"No, it's okay. Hintayin ka namin." Felix added. (We wait for you.)
"So ano? Where's your Amelia friend." Irene said. (So what? Where's your friend, Amelia.)
"Actually nag kamali ng dinig. She actually on her way, from one of her other properties." Felix answered Irene. (There's a misunderstanding.)
"What?! Bakit di nalang dun tayo nag meet?!" Irene frustrated. (Why didn't we just meet her there?!)
"Diba ikaw lang yung makiki usap? Mag hintay ka." Felix said to Irene. (You're the one who needs her money. Learn to wait. )
"Ugh! This is so annoying!" Irene rolling her eyes.
"I'll call her again." Felix said, while walking away from Irene.
"Nandito na kami." Felix added while talking to his phone.
"Hindi pa rin nag dududa ang babae?" Someone said on Felix phone. (She's not suspecting anything, is she?)
"Mukhang wala naman tay." Felix answered. (It doesn't seem like it dad.)
"Oof! It would be so gory if i fall down there." Irene exclaimed while looking underneath her.
"Hintayin nyo ko dyan. Papunta nako dyan." The one who Felix called said. (Wait for me. I'm on my way.)
While Irene and Felix is waiting on someone. Jayson and the group are talking to Irene's land owner.
"We had a lease agreement for ten years, worth 25 million pesos. I even agreed to a down payment of only a million, because she made me her business partner. Pero what until now, eight months pero wala pa rin nangyayare dito. Malulugi ako." Irene's land owner said. (Eight months and there hasn't been any progress here. I'm losing potential profit.)
"I have no idea what their plans are. May i asked how she paid?" Ling asked.
"Well cash." The land owner answered.
"Ah, that's because she found a financier. Actually, he's more if a loan shark than an investor." Kara intervened, everyone looking at her.
"Sino?" Ling asked Kara. (Who?)
Ugh... I forgot his name." Kara trying to remember the name.
"Um... I remember connecting it to, like... Something to do with a cat?" Kara clicking her tounge.
"Tom?" Jayson asked.
"No, no, no." Kara said trying to remember the name.
"Oh my gosh!" Kara getting frustrated.
"Kitty?" Bingo said, Jayson just looked at Bingo funnyly.
"Really, Kitty?" Jayson smiling at Bingo.
"Bakit, something to do with a cat daw eh." Bingo defending himself. (What, she said something to do with a cat.)
"No." Kara said.
"Garfield?" Jayson said, Jayson just smiled at Bingo and Ling.
"No, no, no..." Kara frustrated.
"Something..." Kara still trying to remember.
"Felix the Cat?" Bingo said, Jayson looked at Bingo funny again.
"Yeah, yeah! Felix! Felix the Cat." Kara said.
Bingo just looked at Jayson smirking.
"I'm so great." Kara said to herself.
Ling opened Irene's phone and asked Kara. "Eto ba?" (Is this him?)
"Wait. Uh... Oh! Yeah, yeah, yeah! That's him! We met him on the bar loaded si kuya. Like ang dami nyang pera." Kara said smiling. (Like, he has a lot of money.)
Ling looked at Bingo and Jayson who is suprised at the revelation. "How can we find him?" Ling stammering.
"Yan di ko alam. Sorry." Kara said weakly.
"Excuse me." Ling stammers and leaving the place to message someone. Bingo and Jayson followed Ling.
Ling opened her phone to message Irene.
Caroline (Ling): Irene this is my kidnapper. (A photo of Felix)
"Sana mabasa nya to. Sana hindi sila magkasama, but how do we contact her?" Ling asked Jayson and Bingo.
"I try to make some calls." Jayson opening his phone.
"Uwi muna ako. may day delivery lang ako. Sorry." Bingo suddenly leaving. (I have to go. I've got delivery to make. Sorry.)
Ling and Jayson looked at Bingo's back. "Really, now!" Ling shouted.
"Hayaan mo." Jayson looking serious. (Let him be.)
Transition...
"Yes. Yes, General." Wilson talking to someone on his phone.
"Please come hime." Cindy talking to someone too.
"Yes, sir." Wilson.
"It's safer here than..." Cindy.
"Please update me every 15 minutes." Wilson said to the general.
"Yes, we do that sir." Wilson
"Bilisan nyo..." Cindy seemingly worried. (Be faster.)
"Okay, sir." Wilson hunging up
"Bilisan nyo lang, okay?" Cindy said. (Hurry up, okay?)
Wilson hold Cindy's shoulder carefully and said. "You need to rest."
"Pano ako mag papahinga sa panahon na ganto?" Cindy said to Wilson. (How can i rest at a time like this?)
"Nag kakagulo na na ang mga clients ng GLC. Kailangan natin isauli ang perang nawala." Gina, the mother of Ling's Brother. (The clients of GLC are in chaos. We need to retutn all the missing money.)
"Go ahead. Return it." Wilson said to Gina
"I don't care, there are more important matters. Na dapat kong asikasuhin." Wilson added. (That k need to take care of.)
"What could be more important than two billion pesos?" Gina asked Wilson.
"My children." Wilson answered Gina.
"Ako na bahala dito, Wilson." Cindy intervened.
Wilson let the two talk and called someone.
"Simple lang yan Gina" Cindy sighed. (It's simple Gina.)
"We need to divert finds from other businesses under GLC, so we can come up with two billion pesos." Cindy explained to Gina.
"Marami tayong corporate bylaws na kailangan bangain." Gina said to Cindy. (We'll violate a lot of corporate bylaws.)
"You're the lawyer, so do something! That's your job, right?" Cindy shouted and asked Gina.
"So should i just say yes, ma'am?" Gina said in sarcasm.
"Yes!" Cindy answered.
"We don't have time for this. We have more important things to do." Wilson intervened to the two.
(The GLC corporation bank got hacked and they lost worth of 2 billion pesos)
Transition...
"Dara, bilis!" Kief shouting. (Dara, hurry up!)
"Sasabog na yung pantog ko!" Kief added. (My bladder's about to burst!)
Bingo suddenly comes in and wake Snoop by hitting him in the face with the pillow. "Huy, gising! Kanina pa ako tawag nang tawag sayo." Bingo said and Snoop waking up. (Hey, wake up! I've been calling you.)
"Samahan mo ko. Bilisan mo!" Bingo added. (Come with me. Hurry up!)
While Snoop is just getting up and asked. "Bakit?" Groggy. (What?)
"San tayo?" Snoop still not fully awake. (Where are we going?)
"Tara, tara!" Bingo dragging Snopp out. (Let's go!)
Bougie just looked at the two going out and asked Keif. "Oh san nanaman pupunta yung mga yun?" ( Where are they going?) Keif just looked at the door confused too.
"Hindi si Irene ang mastermind." Bingo said to Snoop going downstairs. (Irene is not the mastermind.)
"Ha?! Sandali." Snoop stopping Bingo. ( What?! Hold up.)
"Hindi si Irene-" Snoop asked but Bingo interrupt him.
"Maraming problema yung babaeng yun. Pero mukhang target din siya ng mga kidnappers. Hindi siya talaga yung mastermind" Bingo said to Snoop. (That girl has many problems. But the kidnappers seem to be after her too. She's really not the mastermind.)
"Sandali, bagal bagalan mo mag salita boy ang bilis mo mag salita eh." Snoop confused. (Wait, will you slow down? You talk to fast.)
"So, ang sinasabi mo, hindi si Irene yung kidnapper?" Snoop whispering the last part. (So what you are saying, Irene isn't the kidnapper?)
"Edi sino?" Snoop added. (Then, who?)
"Hindi ko pa alam." Bingo said. (I don't know.)
"Pero may duda ako." Bingo added. (But i have a hunch.)
Snoop just looked at Bingo and said. "Boy wala akong kinalaman dyan ah." (Hey, I've got nothing to do with that.)
"Hindi ikaw boy." Bingo said to Snoop. (Not you.)
"Oh edi sino nga?" Snoop asked Bingo again. (Then who is it?)
"Pano kung si Mang Balong?" Bingo answered Snoop.
