Luoz stiffened, forcing out a smile, "These are dishes you eat often, of course they would feel familiar."
"It's different. Even though I eat these dishes often, the taste is different here. I am familiar with the food from this particular restaurant." Su Nian frowned, chewing her food thoughtfully. The flavors seemed incredibly familiar.
In a spot invisible to Su Nian, Luoz shot Zheng Haoyu an intense glare. Zheng Haoyu responded with a nonchalant shrug. After all, it was Su Nian herself who found the taste familiar, not something he pointed out.
Prior to this, Luoz hadn't noticed that this restaurant was the same one from where Su Nian and Zheng Haoyu regularly ordered takeout in the past. Now it seemed too late to address that fact.
"I heard that Miss Su also used to live in B City, so it's not strange if the food tastes familiar." Pressured by Luoz's glare, Zheng Haoyu added this comment.
