The two children had been trained to sleep through the night from a young age, so a short while after they had fallen asleep, Luozi, worried about Su Nian, locked the door to the small villa and drove to the hospital.
In her drowsy slumber, Su Nian could feel someone pushing open the door of her room and walking in. When she opened her eyes, she found Luozi. He gave her a slight smile as he sat down by her bedside. "Did I wake you up?"
She did not dare to shake her head, instead she waved her hand, "No, I couldn't sleep."
"Are you feeling very uncomfortable?" Luozi wanted to give her a head massage but her head was completely wrapped in bandages. He was afraid he might accidentally touch Su Nian's wounds.
"I'm okay, don't worry about me." Su Nian cracked a smile. The fact that Luozi visited her in the middle of the night touched her, although she was still concerned about the children. "Have you eaten anything?"
