She recognized him; it was the boy named Li Zhen who had once saved a seat for her.
Li Zhen's face lit up with surprise. "You haven't attended the main lectures for over a month. I thought you had dropped out of school! I've been saving a seat for you every day..."
Perhaps realizing he had let too much slip, the young man quickly scratched his head, chuckling awkwardly.
She smiled. "I came to collect my graduation certificate."
"Have you found a job yet?"
"Not yet."
Li Zhen ruffled his hair. "Job hunting is a bit tough this year, but your major is excellent, so you should be fine. I have a relative who's an HR in a multinational corporation. I heard their starting salary is pretty good. Basic salaries are apparently over 7,000. Two students from our school also went there this year. Shall I ask for you?"
"Thank you, but there's no need."
"There's a graduation dinner tonight. Aren't you going?"
She was a little surprised.
