Si Ruoran confessed the whole sequence of events, and Xin Yibin, upon hearing it, looked a bit gloomy because he really didn't expect Han Li to have set his sights on Si Ruoran.
"Xin Yibin, do you know that person from earlier?"
The more Si Ruoran thought about it, the stranger she felt. They knew each other's names and sounded familiar. But it seemed Xin Yibin really disliked this person, and so did Han Li.
Speaking of which, Han Li's name did have a rather nice ring to it.
Xin Yibin didn't stop, he just turned his head slightly to look at her: "He's the child brought by my stepmother, so we know each other."
Hearing Xin Yibin mention his stepmother, Si Ruoran didn't say any more.
She had also heard that when his stepmother married into the Xin Family, although young, it was her second marriage. She had a son from her previous husband who didn't follow her to the Xin Family.
So, that was her stepmother's child.
