"There are only four of them, we can take them on," Calista declared confidently. "I'll take on that ugly bear that looks like an orc. I'm going to tear that thing apart. She must pay dearly for hurting Mika," she growled, her anger evident.
Kristine intervened, offering a word of caution. "Don't rush in," she advised. "We mustn't let our emotions get the better of us. Our priority is to secure Mika first."
Calista took a deep breath, allowing Kristine's words to calm her and regain her composure. Slowly, she reverted back to her original form, while nanobots began crawling all over her body, forming her battle armor. Some of the nanobots covered her claws, making them even harder and sharper. With the assistance of the nanobots, she attached both her daggers to her elbows, ready for battle.
"I'll take care of Mika," Michelle said confidently. "I'll provide cover for all of you as well." As she spoke, two additional arms sprouted under her armpits, and a prehensile tail with a sharp tip emerged from her upper back. A third eye opened at the center of her forehead, revealing her true form. With a soft landing in front of their unconscious ally, all of Michelle's arms held large gun-like weapons, and a holographic-like octagonal force fields formed around her.
"Calista, take on that animal. Rinoah, you handle that bitch clad in armor. I will deal with those two ugly girls," Kristine instructed, assigning each team member their targets.
Michelle wasted no time. She bombarded their enemies with her array of weapons, her primary objective is to separate them and create an opening for her team to proceed as planned.
Rinoah dashed towards her assigned target with precision and speed. Her attacks were calculated and swift, making it challenging for Saguitaria to evade and block. Despite Saguitaria shooting her projectile weapons, Rinoah gracefully evaded each one of them.
Meanwhile, Calista lunged at Airag, repeating the same attack that had made the beast stagger earlier. The results remained consistent. The large beast couldn't match Calista's speed, but in terms of sheer strength, Airag had the advantage. With each strike of her claws, Calista managed to make Airag stagger backward. However, if Airag's counterattack landed on Calista, she would be sent flying backward.
"As soon as Michelle separated Calista from Rinoah's target, she continued her assault on Jorcelle, providing cover for Kristine who dashed towards Divina.
Kristine's attacks were precise and deadly, each swing of her Katana aimed at Divina's neck. Despite Divina's swirling crimson blades, Kristine managed to penetrate her defense, causing Divina to stagger backwards upon contact. Thankfully, Divina's crimson armor protected her from being cut.
Jorcelle found it difficult to get a clear shot due to Michelle's projectile attacks and her efforts to shield her teammates. Frustrated, she decided to redirect her attack towards Michelle. However, Jorcelle's assault couldn't seem to penetrate Michelle's force fields."
"They are not ordinary fighters," Kristine thought to herself. "They are far more powerful than those we've fought before. We've improved a lot since our previous battle, but we can't gain an edge on them." Her worry began to manifest.
"Michelle has already enhanced our battle suits," Kristine murmured while attacking and dodging simultaneously. "Michelle even revealed her true form. She must have sensed great danger."
"Are you done playing now?" Divina said with a sinister smirk.
Kristine was taken aback as the crimson-bladed weapons launched towards her. She initially thought they were for defense, but her eyes grew wider when she saw two additional crimson swords for attacking. Her shock intensified as eight crimson tentacle-like tails sprouted from Divina's back, each with a bladed weapon at its tip.
Divina shifted from defense to offense, launching her attacks. Although her strikes were somewhat unorthodox and imprecise, Kristine still struggled to defend herself. "Such speed and power," she said to herself in disbelief.
Michelle noticed that Kristine was having a hard time, so she aimed her attacks at Kristine's opponent. However, to her surprise, all her laser projectiles came to a sudden halt, exploding before reaching Divina. Jorcelle mimicked her previous attack, but with unbelievable accuracy and speed. "How was she able to see through all that?" Michelle pondered.
"Impressed?" Jorcelle taunted, aiming at Michelle.
"Huh?!" Michelle was taken aback, realizing that she hadn't seen Jorcelle approaching her.
Jorcelle bombarded Michelle with her light arrows, each one targeting a singular point. "She's weakening my force fields," Michelle immediately noticed. She quickly shifted the concentration of energy to the area where Jorcelle was attacking.
Meanwhile, Rinoah believed she was gaining the upper hand as Saguitaria seemed to struggle against her attacks. However, Saguitaria suddenly leaped backwards, creating some distance between them.
"Get over here, you bitch!" Rinoah shouted, determined to chase after Saguitaria.
Before Rinoah could reach her, Saguitaria swiftly flipped a pill into her mouth. But that didn't deter Rinoah from continuing her relentless assault. A sudden change in Saguitaria's speed occurred, prompting Rinoah to increase her own speed in order to match her opponent.
As Rinoah persisted with her attacks, Saguitaria did her best to evade while murmuring enchantments to the ring she wore. With the power of the enhancing drugs and the stone of Kalin-ga, Saguitaria now possessed an even greater strength and speed.
Rinoah's strength has always been her edge, but she knows that her speed is reaching its limit. Determined to overcome this, she activates one of the abilities of her battle suit. A few small booster sprouts at her back and under her boots, propelling her forward for another attack. She swings her trident, slamming it towards her opponent. Saguitaria leaps backwards once again, narrowly evading the strike. Rinoah's powerful attack leaves a crater-like hole in the ground where it landed.
As soon as Saguitaria lands, she undergoes a transformation into her feral mode. But it doesn't end there; her sleek armor suddenly undergoes a complete transformation as well, covering her entire body. Additionally, four mechanical spider-like arms form at her back, adding to her menacing appearance.
"It's my turn now!" Saguitaria growls, dashing towards Calista with incredible speed.
Saguitaria's speed is so astonishing that even with the power of her battle suit, Rinoah is unable to evade her attack. Saguitaria's big, sharp claws slash Rinoah's abdomen. Normally, Rinoah's body is adapted to extreme pressure of even the deepest ocean, making her skin hard and bulletproof. However, this time, Saguitaria manages to cut not just through her armor but her skin as well, causing blood to splatter as the wound opens.
"Argh!" she exclaimed, staggering backward and falling to her knees. This was the first time in her entire life that she had experienced such intense pain. While she had been wounded before, but this pain was on a whole different level.
