Therefore, Buddha Tathagata realizes that although Maitreya Buddha is strong, he is actually in his death throes.
As long as He persists, victory is assuredly His.
After all, Maitreya Buddha is not the real Heaven Connecting Sect Hierarch; even if he can stack his combat power by special characteristics of the Dao, he can't possibly have infinite endurance—the time is on the side of Buddha Tathagata.
