This was Jing Yiren's dinner.
Jing Yiren had just read two pages and eaten three sandwich cookies.
The bedroom door clicked softly!
Jing Yiren subconsciously turned her head back to see Lu Ming coming in.
Jing Yiren quickly put away the cookies into her bag, wiped her mouth secretly, and swallowed the remaining cookies.
Lu Ming had noticed Jing Yiren eating cookies as soon as he entered the door.
He gently closed the door and walked step by step toward the center of the room.
Jing Yiren tensed up, her back straightening as though she was looking at a script.
Her ears uncontrollably tuned in to every movement behind her.
She heard Lu Ming rustling as he unbuttoned his shirt cuffs, took off his watch and placed it on the table, then opened the wardrobe.
"Eh..."
Lu Ming's sudden voice came from behind, and Jing Yiren nervously stood up from her seat and spoke first, interrupting him.
"Right! I was just looking for you!"
