She was just about to ask, "What happened?" when she heard a loud "bang" from inside the house... as if something had heavily smashed onto the floor.

Alerted by her voice, Zhang Te turned towards Xia Wan'an, "Miss Xia Wanwan, have you returned?"
Xia Wan'an nodded, looking towards the door, "What's going on?"
"This..." Zhang Te had barely uttered two words when there was a crashing sound from inside the house, probably from some glass door or mirror shattering.
Zhang Te's heart instantly leaped to his throat. He took a couple of steps unconsciously towards the door, wanting to go inside, but then the thought of Han Jingnian at the brink of rage made him stop in his tracks.
Seeing Zhang Te's reaction, Xia Wan'an's frown deepened, "What happened, exactly?"
