At noon, during lunch, Nan Fei and Emil sat on opposite sides of the dining table, staring at each other with wide eyes, bewildered.
"Don't stare, you can't see anything anyway," Emil said disdainfully.
"Looks like you're getting bolder?" Nan Fei raised an eyebrow. "Overnight, what boosted your courage? Do you think I'm easy to bully?" This kid is really too shrewd, even at this young age, he's cunning enough to reach the sky.
Not kicking him out last night was a mistake; once he figures out her limits, he'll take advantage.
"Hehehe..." Emil chuckled slyly, "As a Prince of the Kannaya, I naturally have a commanding presence."
"Oh right, as a Prince of the Kannaya, you can be kidnapped, threatened, used, not to mention facing life-threatening situations." That's why Nan Fei, though annoyed by his antics, still opted to keep him close.
Because he's really quite charming!
