Chen Jing ran to the main door and peered through the crack to see Ding Jiaqi crouched pathetically in the corner. She was so startled she quickly covered her mouth, almost unable to recognize the person before her.
The clothes that Ding Jiaqi originally wore had been torn to shreds, barely covering her crucial parts. A large red handprint on her face had swollen half of her cheek. Her body was covered in bruises, and there were suspicious white marks on her exposed thighs.
Chen Jing's tears began to fall.
What happened during the time Ding Jiaqi was locked away was obvious to any clear-eyed observer.
Heavens! She simply couldn't imagine how a woman could survive such humiliation and torment.
