Ming Mei mentioned a place, and Beitang Qing paused for a moment, then said, "Okay."
Beitang Qing couldn't help but turn to glance at Ming Mei, then looked out at the bustling traffic outside the window, half of his face hidden in darkness, revealing no emotion.
Xizeer reached out and grabbed Ming Mei's hand.
Ming Mei looked down at Xizeer's small hand, a slight smile appearing at the corner of her mouth, and she held Xizeer's hand in return, "When you grow up, you'll be able to hold mom's hand like this."
Xizeer nodded, "Mm."
More than twenty minutes passed, and the car stopped by the roadside.
Beitang Qing told Ming Mei, "This place is being rebuilt; the land is all fenced off. In another couple of years, it'll turn into an amusement park."
Ming Mei nodded, "I know."
She pushed open the car door and got out.
Along the roadside, the long fence stretched on, and in the dark of night, the boundaries were nearly invisible.
