Ming Mei straightened up immediately upon hearing about food: "Can..."
Kang Chen shook his head with a smile, "Sit tight, don't move, it'll be ready soon."
"Okay..."
Kang Chen served up the noodles and asked Ming Mei, "Want a fried egg with that?"
Ming Mei nodded, "Yes."
Kang Chen picked up the pan, turned on the stove, and once the pan was hot, he poured in some oil, waited for it to heat up, and cracked an egg into it.
In no time, the egg was ready; Kang Chen quickly flipped it and then turned off the heat, placing the perfectly fried egg on top of the noodles.
Kang Chen had gotten particularly good at frying eggs; crispy on both sides, with a runny yolk in the middle.
Just looking at it made Ming Mei unable to control her drooling as the aroma wafted up her nose.
As Ming Mei ate, she said, "Husband... your cooking skills have really improved..."
Kang Chen picked up a napkin and wiped Ming Mei's mouth, "Isn't it all because you've trained me?"
