Ming Mei simply styled the bride's hair and placed a gemstone crown on her head. She put her hands on the bride's shoulders, "Alright, it's time to go out. A woman should always face everything beautifully."
The bride's previously cold eyes softened considerably. She reached out and placed her hand on the back of Ming Mei's hand.
"Thank you."
Ming Mei raised an eyebrow, "You're welcome."
"However, I still want to thank you. Thank you for saving my life, and more importantly, thanks for those words you said to me."
If Ming Mei hadn't said those things casually, perhaps she would never have been able to let go of the feeling of being used as a family sacrifice and would have always harbored resentment.
Ming Mei's words gave her a sense of enlightenment.
She suddenly realized that seeing things doesn't always have to be done from a fixed perspective.
Life is not always stagnant.
The bride went out, and Ming Mei followed behind her.
