"Hiram, I've thought it through. I don't want this child. I... I... I'm not ready to be a good mother yet." Mi Lu lowered her head, seemingly struggling internally, her hand trembling as she held the water cup.
Mi Lu didn't dislike the idea of the child; in fact, she was initially just shocked when she heard about her pregnancy.
Gradually, she began to feel fear and confusion.
