The full moon banquet dispersed around half past eight. After all, the child needed to return home early. Ding Long couldn't resist his group of friends. After sending Ding Jinshi and the daughter back, a few friends called him out for drinks again.
"Jinshi, if I come back late, you should rest early with our daughter. If I'm too late, I'll rest in another room and won't disturb you two." Ding Long said to Ding Jinshi before leaving, then kissed his daughter's little cheek before reluctantly leaving the house.
Ding Jinshi put her daughter in the small bed. She remained silent as usual; Ding Long hadn't noticed the big matter weighing in her heart.
Aunt Xi returned later and made some supper for Ding Jinshi. After the two ate supper, it was already ten o'clock. After chatting for a while, they each went to rest.
