"He Teng?" Lan Li handed Ding Long over to the soldier behind him and then walked towards He Teng, patting his shoulder. He understood what He Teng felt inside, thinking the child was in Ding Long's hands. That's why they fought hard to capture Ding Long, but in the end, it was like drawing water with a sieve, all for nothing.
He Teng found himself confused. The child wasn't in Ding Long's possession; so, who had the child?
"Call the helicopter over, find a flat area to land, and take Ding Long to Wu Village. Any teams that haven't caught up should fall back." He Teng looked at the soldiers beside him and said, "You stay here and rescue the hostages. Lan Li and I will board the helicopter together."
"Yes!" Everyone remembered that there were still two hostages under Ding Long's watch.
The helicopter's rotor blades thrashed about, blowing the low grass around it flat. He Teng signaled Lan Li, who then led Ding Long directly onto the helicopter.
